The "BUILD-a-BIKE" form is a very large download.
all the design choices download first;
only then does the form become active.
Range
• We needed a consistent benchmark by to judge the range of these bikes,
so it is flat surface, 70º F, 425 lb bike with a 175 lb rider.
• The bike is half the width of a Harley for a very small wind profile.
This helps the range quite a bit.
• Hills, changes in temperature, acceleration, etc will effect these ranges.
Under extreme conditions the ranges may even be half of what is stated.
Please keep that in mind.

Battery
• Our Lithium-ion battery uses prismatic pouches
( Lithium-Nickel-Cobalt-Manganese-Oxide chemistry )
• 40 pouches 28 kWh (250.0 lbs) for the 480-E
• 30 pouches 21 kWh (187.5 lbs) for the 360-E
• 20 pouches 14 kWh (125.0 lbs) for the 240-E
• 11 pouches 9 kWh (68.75 lbs) for the 120-E
• The pouches are arranged to mimic the mass of an engine
so that the balance and feel of all Panthers remains the same.

( not working perfectly yet )
SUGGESTION ....
• Select the basics like Model, Range and Color.
Start out simple; you can always add on later.
• When you are ready to try to design a bike for yourself,
go to the Build-a-Bike form .... and start designing.
The picture of the bike changes as you make design choices.
• There are over 100 design choices .... take your time
• if you "mouse over" a selection it explains that choice.
• After you are satisfied with your design, push "NEXT"
and then choose from the menu as to whether you are ....
1. Just looking ( sends us a copy of your design to help us )
2. Interested ( sends you a copy of your design as well )
3. Wish to purchase ( as soon as the economy come back )
( hopefully by the end of 2012 )
